Lower Creek LaMancha Dairy Goats maintains a small, quality herd in the Florida panhandle between Crestview and DeFuniak Springs.
Because of our limited ability to leave the farm, we don't attend many shows a year, but in the shows we are able to attend, Lower Creek does have consistently placed in the top three with many firsts and seconds. Fantastic Moment (aka Fanny) proudly carries her SGCH designation and several others received reserve champion rosettes. We also have several beautiful does with their SG.
John and I are extremely pleased with the direction of our breeding program, and it will continue with quality bucks that enhance and improve our does.
We proudly participate in ADGA's DHIA and Linear Appraisal programs. Our goats score in the high 80s to 91 in LA. Lower Creek is a CAEV negative herd, tested yearly and are on Florida's Scrapie program.
